Transformative role of social finance in the era of post COV ID-19(EN/KR)
a) To share the impact of the covid19 pandemic on different types of social finance
organizations/networks’ operation(e.g. portfolio adjustment, launching of new emergency response
programs etc.)
b) To exchange different types of social finance organizations/networks’ new strategic plans under the
post-covid19 environments where widening income gaps (i.e. increase in asset prices due in part to
accommodative fiscal policies yet, economic hardship of socially marginalized groups and small
enterprises) and worsening labour rights/conditions of precarious workers (rise of the contactless,
platform economy and automation trends which are being accelerated during the pandemic) pose
serious socio-economic challenges.
Innovative Social Finance mechanisms from diverse territories to strengthen SSE ecosystem(EN)
Social and solidarity finance arises as a response to conventional finance, which captures resources from many to produce a growing concentration and centralization among the few, while leaving a large part of the population rationed of basic financial services, especially in the Global South, and of the associative, cooperative, mutual, community, popular, indigenous and other practices that put life at the center and that need finance for their development and consolidation as any other economic initiative.
SILK - Social Solidarity International Learning and Knowledge Community of Peers(EN)
The SILK project is one of the six Peer Learning Partnerships of the OECD Global Action, funded by the European Union’s Foreign Partnership Instrument Coordinated by Diesis Network, it gathers a consortium of important SSE organizations from EU countries, USA, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, India and Korea.It aims is to facilitate Peer Learning among public officials and senior managers from SSE companies and SSE networks about the internationalisation of SSE organisations.
Facilitated by Samuel Barco and reuniting 4 policy experts (two coming from SSE representative organisations and the other two from governments) that participated in the PLP this session proposes a discussion on the many lessons learned from the 11 varied cases presented and discussed during the Social Solidarity Economy International Learning and Knowledge Community of Peers.
Financing the Ecological and Social Transition of SSE companies: dialogue between social and solidarity finance networks (FR)
La pandémie de la COVID-19 a entraîné une crise sanitaire et économique sans précédent au niveau mondial. Cependant, elle aura eu au moins un impact positif, celui d’avoir mis en évidence l’urgence de la transition écologique et sociale. Dans ce contexte, le financement de l’économie sociale doit aussi tenir compte des impacts des changements climatiques s’assurer que les entreprises issues de l’ESS contribuent par leurs actions à réduire cet impact.
La dernière année a aussi vu le taux de pauvreté et de chômage augmenter considérablement partout dans le monde. Dans certaines régions, les avancées en termes de réduction des inégalités ont même été effacées par les conséquences économiques de la pandémie. La transition écologique peut-elle être aussi sociale et participer à la réduction de la pauvreté et du chômage?
Quel rôle peuvent jouer les réseaux de finance sociale et solidaire face à ces enjeux? Comment peuvent-ils travailler ensemble et accompagner les structures qui financent l’économie sociale et solidaire?

Today more than ever, financial innovation faces the challenge of seeking to incorporate the human dimension into the field of finance, prioritizing criteria that seek the redistribution of economic resources, innovation, and digital transformation in its services. With the emergence of innovative projects with the vision of the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE), social finance should guarantee financial inclusion, promote, and democratize access to these services in order to make viable productive initiatives that contribute to well-being. This session provides a space for the of knowledge and experience sharing and learning of innovative monetary and financial instruments and mechanisms responding to various types of needs.

Statistics on SSE - where are we? And where are we heading?(EN)
As the concept and practices of SSE continue to grow across the world, the demand for statistics on SSE increases at global, national and regional levels. Policymakers and practitioners are searching for scientific statistical methodologies and comprehensive statistics providing information on the size, scope, forms and contribution of SSE to economy and society which are indispensable effective policy and institutional ecosystem.
